Jersey Fish Festival 2010 starts at 10 am on the 17th July and runs through to 11pm to end with a fireworks finale. The event celebrates Jersey's finest seafood and fishing heritage and the funds raised are in support of the local maritime charities.
At a Glance
Lots of affordable freshly cooked seafood will be available to enjoy in a massive dining area, fronted by a music stage. Top Sea shanty bands and the best local musicians providing 12 hours of non stop entertainment.. A large local arts and crafts area and lots of attractions for children including a live fish touch tank & Tina Ellis-Brecknell creating a great sea sculpture.

“Jersey's fishermen wanted to host the festival for a second year to celebrate our fishing heritage. Our sea food is world class and the industry is an integral part the island’s life and character. Hosting a day of fun, music and activity is our way of demonstrating the pride we have in our industry”.
Spokesman for Jersey Fisherman’s Association Don Thompson said:
This years highlight will be the “not to be missed” man-powered flight competition. Locally brewed ales, water carnival & parade and blessing of the fleet plus trawler race. marine exhibitors etc.
