Channel Seaways Limited originally started as a once a month freight service from Torbay to Alderney. Today the route is served by two ships, the M.V. Isis and M.V. Burhou I and is operated out of Poole. There is a once weekly service to Guernsey and Jersey. The Company is locally owned with its base in Guernsey, but its roots firmly lie in Alderney.
